PROCESS
The client wanted something minimalist incorporating shades of blue, gold, red and white. One of the major design requests involved combining the Capitol dome with the settlement of Jamestown, Virginia, which lends the name 1607.
Other early concepts and illustrations included Capitol Bridge Strategies in reference to Washington DC's Memorial Bridge as well as Metropolitan Strategies. Ultimately, the client decided that 1607 Strategies was the best concept and requested a website, letterhead, and business cards for the firm.
Several landing page designs were laid out. We ultimately decided on a conventional layout with historic contextual imagery.
